CAST is always looking for outstanding science student teachers.
We are currently seeking nominations for our 2023-4 Pre-Service Awards. If you sponsor(ed) a student teacher any time during the 2022-2023 school year, and feel they do(did) an outstanding job, please consider nominating them for the CAST Pre-Service Award.
Deadline for submissions is April 15, 2024.
The winner of the award will receive $250.00 and a certificate. In addition, we will reimburse registration for the annual Colorado Science Conference. Any pre-service teacher who has student taught in Colorado during the 2021-2022 school year's fall or spring term is eligible.
NOTE: Any student teacher is allowed a free year membership to CAST.
