CAST Membership Has Its Benefits!

You'll find lots of reasons to join our statewide network of science educators. CAST exists to support, stimulate and improve science education at all levels. As a member, you'll have access to extensive resources for professional development, opportunities for your students, classroom activities, grant opportunities, CAST-specific awards and grants, and discounts on certain programs.

A one year CAST membership is $20 or join for three years for $40. Retirees and students may join CAST for $10 each year.

Your CAST membership includes:

Professional development opportunities. As a member, you'll have access to and/or reduced rates at CAST-sponsored workshops and courses around Colorado.

The quarterly CAST newsletter. Includes updates on events and professional development opportunities across the state.

CAST awards. CAST members have the opportunity to be recognized and to nominate Colorado teachers for excellence in science education.

Free Individual membership to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. (Or a discount on dual and family memberships.) The Denver Museum of Nature and Science opens up a world of possibilities. Membership offers a number of benefits including guest passes, discounts to the IMAX, Planetareum, deli and gift shop. Members also receive discounts to lectures and workshops and invitations to member events.

Discounts on Denver Zoo programming. CAST members receive a 20% discount on the following Denver Zoo school programming: Classes, miniclasses and assemblies both at your school and at Denver Zoo; science and career workshops at Denver Zoo; and teacher professional development workshops offered at Denver Zoo.
