CAST Awards For Excellence in Science Teaching

CAST and the American Vacuum Society offer awards for Excellence in Science Teaching in the state of Colorado.  The awards are presented each year at the Colorado Science Conference, in November, in the amount of $500 each.  A CAST Award is selected at each of three levels: Elementary, Secondary, and College/Informal.  To be eligible for the CAST award you must be a CAST member in good standing.  For the Elementary, Middle School, and High School awards, you also must be currently teaching science in a Colorado school. Nominees for the College/Informal award do not have to be teaching, but must be involved in science education in Colorado.

Deadline for submission was September 30, 2021.

American Vacuum Society Award for Excellence in Science Teaching

The American Vacuum Society also sponsors an award for Excellence in Science Teaching in the state of Colorado.  The award is presented each year at the Colorado Science Conference, in November, in the amount of $500.  An AVS Award is selected at each of three levels: Elementary, Secondary, and College/Informal. You do not need to be a CAST member to receive the AVS award.  To be eligible, you must be currently teaching science in a Colorado school.
