Thank you!

We couldn't do this conference without you!

Proposal window for 2026 CSC is currently open!

The 2026 Colorado Science Conference will be held on Friday, November 6th, 2026.

This will be an in-person conference held at the CSU-SPUR Campus in Denver.

Sessions will be 50 minutes in length.

Presenters are invited to submit up to a maximum of two (2) proposals for consideration.  Submit your best ideas!

  • Due to space and time limitations, not all deserving proposals can be accommodated.
  • Reviewers will prioritize proposals based on a balanced program (i.e., science disciplines and teaching levels).
  • Other considerations are:
    • Is it timely/appropriate?
    • Is it based upon contemporary research?
    • How does it address this year's CSC Theme: Peaks of the Past, Frontiers of the Future: 150 Years of Colorado Curiosity

The CSC Board will begin accepting session proposals in May 2025. Here is the link to the session submission form.

The deadline for priority consideration is Monday, June 22, 2026.

Evaluation of proposals will begin in July by the CSC Board. After our initial, priority selection we may accept additional proposals through August or until spaces are full.
The CSC board reserves the right to accept or decline proposals.

Proposals promoting a saleable product, program, or service must indicate so in the submission form and will be indicated as a commercial session in the CSC program. This includes presentations offering a product(s) for sale, paid training or professional learning opportunities, supplements, or access to any additional resources for a fee.

All sessions must comply with the guidelines (established by NSTA and being followed by CSC) for safety practices and regulations for all hands-on demonstrations, experiments, and workshops given at the Colorado Science Conference.  These can be found at: https://static.nsta.org/pdfs/MinimumSafetyPracticesAndRegulations.pdf.

Scheduling Times and Rooms:

The conference will run from 8:30AM to 4:30 PM. It includes 5 session blocks, a keynote speaker, lunch (included with registrations) and an awards ceremony.  Due to space and time limitations, we may not be able to accommodate special scheduling requests.

All presentation rooms will have a projector, presentation screen/display, sound, and some basic cables. You must bring your own computer and other supplies. Although the basic connectors are provided, it is recommended that you bring HDMI compatible cords or dongles for your specific device. There is free WIFI throughout the CSU-Spur campus. Room capacity limits vary from about 12 (for small conference-style rooms) to 250 (for the large auditorium) with the majority being about 30 (for classrooms). Most presentation spaces are on upper floors with elevator access. The CSC presentation team will do our best to place all sessions in optimal locations. However, please let us know if you have a room preference or accessibility needs and we will do our best to accommodate.

Parking update 2026: Event parking now requires payment and is managed by the National Western Center. The fee for parking is $15. There are loading zones for quick unloading and loading materials. However, vehicles left in these zones will be ticketed.
